EQQUALBERRY Brand Review: Korean Skincare for Hydration, Glow and Texture

EQQUALBERRY is a Korean skincare brand with collections built around different skin concerns and ingredient combinations. Its brand story emphasises individual beauty, self-care and ingredients drawn from nature, while its range includes cleansers, toners, serums and creams.

Korean Beauty Mart carries EQQUALBERRY products across several routine steps, including Swimming Pool Toner, targeted serums, moisturisers and hydrogel masks.

Effectiveness and Value

EQQUALBERRY offers different formulas for different priorities. The brand positions Hyaltoin Flooding Serum around hydration, Vitamin Illuminating Serum around dullness and uneven-looking tone, and Bakuchiol Plumping Serum around firmness and texture. Choose according to the concern you want to address and the formula you prefer. For value, compare size alongside price. KBM lists Swimming Pool Toner in both 155ml and 300ml bottles. At the checked prices, the larger bottle costs less per millilitre, while the smaller bottle requires less upfront spending.

Ingredient Focus

The ingredients vary by product:

• Protease and berry extracts: Swimming Pool Toner contains protease alongside glycerin, panthenol and several berry extracts. The brand presents it as a hydrating, texture-care toner.
• Acerola, niacinamide and arbutin: Featured in Vitamin Illuminating Serum. Its advertised 40% refers to acerola fruit water, rather than pure vitamin C.
• Bakuchiol, peptides and ceramides: Included in Bakuchiol Plumping Serum. The official ingredient list specifies 5,000ppm bakuchiol, equivalent to 0.5%.
• Hyaluronic acid, ectoin and ceramides: Key components of the moisture-focused Hyaltoin Flooding Serum.
• Clay and rice ingredients: Purple Rice Pore Purifying Pack Cleanser lists kaolin, bentonite, rice powder and rice extracts, alongside salicylic acid.

Check the current pack for the complete ingredient declaration when comparing products or avoiding specific ingredients.

Packaging and Presentation

The featured serum bottles use rounded glass packaging and colourful dropper caps. Bakuchiol Plumping Serum pairs a purple bottle with a magenta cap, while Vitamin Illuminating Serum uses a golden-yellow bottle with a red cap. Their contrasting colours help distinguish the two products.
